Telling the Right Story
From heritage scripts to pitch narratives and brand experiences.
I began my career as a researcher and scriptwriter for museums and heritage attractions. It was a role that called for considerable range, from the fine detail of 18th-century battles to the script for an alien invasion dark ride. A pretty good training ground for storytelling.
That narrative instinct has stayed with me ever since. It underpins how I think, and becomes especially useful in pitch work, where I am often asked to shape the copy, the script or the story thread running through the experience.
From cathedral museum proposals to a ride-and-drive adventure in the Moab desert, and from smartphone launches in New York to major pitch decks, my role is to create the narrative that makes the whole thing hang together.
